Driving is a necessity for many people in Florida. Most people do not work within walking distance of their homes and need to get to work each day. People have to go to the grocery store and other places for necessities. They also like to enjoy certain recreational activities, which may not be close to their homes. In order to do all of these activities, they must drive there.
