Accidents occur every day in Florida. Some of these accidents are due to things out of our control like weather related accidents. However, many other accidents are caused by the negligence of another person or business. When people suffer injuries in these types of accidents it can be even more difficult to deal with, as in most cases the accident could have been avoided if the other person had been acting appropriately.
There are many deaths in Florida every year. Some are of natural causes, but many others result from an accident or intentional act of another person or entity. Often in these situations the person who died is relatively young and has a full life in front of them. It can be extremely difficult for the friends and family of the victim to cope with the loss. In addition to the emotional loss that the family experiences, they may also experience a significant financial loss as well.
There are countless property owners in Florida, many of whom have people coming and going from their property every day. Most of the time these people are invited onto the property. When a person is invited on to the property, the property owner is responsible for ensuring there are not dangerous conditions on the property. However, if the person is not invited onto the property the owner's legal obligation may differ and in some situations owners are not liable at all for injuries to such people.
As many fans of Tracy Morgan in Florida know, the comedian was involved in a very serious accident in June. The vehicle in which he was riding with several others was rear-ended by a semi-truck driver for Wal-Mart. One person in the vehicle died and Morgan suffered multiple broken bones and brain damage as a result of the accident.
